Ok, asked about a laptop a wee while ago but this time trying with a desktop. It's described as a gaming laptop and here are the features, please tell me what would need to be changed. Just want it to run smoothly enough with good enough graphics and to be able to use mods:

Processor- AMD Opteron 2.30Ghz Quad-Core (2356)

RAM- 8GB

Hard Disk Drive- 250GB SATA2 Hard Drive

Graphics- XFX (ATI) HD5450 - 1 GB GDDR3 - PCIe - VGA,DVI & HDMI Output

I'm hoping this is all fine, just want to play Skyrim and download mods so I can mess around and maybe make a few of my own. I'd like decent graphics but they aren't a great concern to be honest. I'm budgeted too so spending a lot isn't on the cards and these are the featires of a desktop I've found and it's expensive enough for me.

Heyy, I'm a little new to the whole Skyrim not on a console thing here so I need help. I'm planning to purchase a laptop but I need to know if it meets the requirements of playing Skyrim and downloading a lot of mods and so on. I plan to play a few other games but this is the main one. Here are the laptop details and remember I know little about them:

Hard drive: 500GB 5400rpm

Processor: AMD Brazos E450

Processor Speed: 1.65Ghz

RAM: 4GB

Graphics: AMD Integrated Radeon HD 6320

Also runs on Windows 7 Home Premium_64bit. Would appreciate to know if this will allow Skyrim to function well or any specifics need changed. Plus, how does the mod download thing work?? Do you download them and they just work within the game when you start it??

(Please read all) I know Dragonborn wasn't long ago and that Bethesda are taking their time with the PS3 (I disagree with them doing that). However, I believe that we should have an arena based DLC next. One with multiple ways to get started in. For example, an arena being built in Skyrim as friendly competition for those that volunteer and those from The Imperial Arena. You can start out as being captured by Imperials and forced to fight in your execution and by winning (with new execution kills) you are sent to underground fighting areas to gain small amounts of fame before you join the arena and win your freedom in multiple grudge matches of different kinds, involving new unique weaponry and armour (start off in standard garbs, then proper gladiator themed armour and eventually choose your own themed armou), new fighting styles which can be changed through interactions with a trainer (faster swinging yet smaller damage and different swings/power attacks or slower yet more powerful swings and so on). A new storyline can be built from this as you earn a name for yourself and make friends/enemies based on choices and when freedom is earned you are rewarded and allowed to come back and practice. You take part in training with wooden swords that can only beat people into submission and new active effects can be earned. Or you can join altogether willingly by executing a dangerous prisoner as part of a qualifying match and then must earn a big enough reputation before an invite is issued. Underground fights means wearing a collar so as no magic can be used and only personal combat. Unarmed skill tree and new unarmed moves as well to be given. More challenges to duels outside as renown is gained.

This is my idea for a new DLC, what do you guys think and is their any you'd like to add??

If you like this idea then please share it around other forums in the hopes that it is made, a longer DLC than Dawnguard but with few new areas and content but great replay

Can anyone tell me if the current skylanders characters are playable on the new skylanders giants?? Need to know for my girlfriend's little brother, he'd be devastated if he couldn't play his original characters along with the giants sequel

So far we've only experienced two new joinable factions in Skyrim without guild ranks in any faction this time round. Personally my favourite is the Dark Brtherhood. They're very skilled and talented assassins with expert combat skills as well as stealth and magical skills with a pension for worshipping death. They weren't as good as they were in Oblivion, the main quest line wasn't that epic but was still enjoyable. Missed the rankings, the bonuses and unique weaponry but they're scarce in the game in general. Out of the entire series, what would you say your favourite guild is and why would you choose them??

Ok, I think the racial abilities don't really offer much. Many can be acquired as a spell or power later in the game anyway, much like vampiric abilities too. I think there should be abilities, and not the once a day rubbish, that really define each race (the voices for dark elves from Morrowind should replace the badly done British accents they seem to have somehow picked up). For example, a khajiit has the ability to charge a massive leap in height and distance along with an animal like sprinting ability. Argonians can release a poisonous gas that harms and disorients anyone caught and they have a chameleon like ability to blend in with their environment. Dark elves can keep their fiery abilities, they should also be able to summon a reaper type ghost that cannot be stopped until the marked enemy is killed by it. What do you think of these ideas and what others would you suggest for other races??

I'm very confused, I came across some gamesaves that were modded but I'm unsure as what to do with them. Some sites talk about modding saves by downloading horizon and modio. But what about downloading saves that are already modded?? Is it possible to just download an already modded gamesave on to a USB memory pen and then load it at the main menu of Skyrim?? Can someone give me a full step by step approach please??

I played the first two games on my original profile and continued the same story. I deleted my files except for my Mass Effect 2 import and realised it was the character I brought over from the first game. So now I had to begin ME3 with a brand new character and the only choice I made on my character was who lived between Ashley and Kaiden. I didn't get to choose wrex to be alive or Jack from ME2. In fact everyone from the first 2 games have survived in my storyline. But I have no choice now as it's been pre-determined. Is there a way to choose specifically what happened before??

For fans of the game, do you not think it would be great to introduce a skill set/class when one of the two races? For example, adding perks that can enhance your race by improving certain aspects such as the sprinting speed of a werewolf and the jumping height/distance. Vampires could receive the same. So they feel physically superior to regular elves and humans. Speed and strength upgrades could be leved so they can be improved a number of times. Vampires should include an unarmed ability similar to werewolves, power attack knocking people off their feet. Perks such as permanent detect life for werewolves and new power attacks. This could be an improvement to the scarce abilities both possess. Since werewolves could be quicker and easier to move around obstacles, reaching greater heights. Vampires shouldnt feel physically inferior when they're powers can be obtained through regular spells. We need to actually feel like a supernatural creature with the strengths to match the obvious weaknesses. A curse and a blessing at once. Anyone agree? Post your ideas and opinions

Sorry this is long but I posted about the werewolf and vampire changes that could have been made with new dlc not so long ago. Here are other ideas. There aren't many unique weapons and armour and not a decent variety of regular ones. Some weapons are considered unique but turn out to be something like a dwarven sword with an enchantment so it has no unique appearance. Some unique swords and most others, such as Dawnbreaker, have no scabbard but instead a stupid looking leather strap which ruins the look for an amazing weapon as cool swords need cool scabbards. There just weren't as many, just takes a character to reach a very high level to be able to find more weapon types in loot meaning people are stuck with certain types for at least 10 levels. A nice addition to the smithing would be to create weapons and armour but design their appearance. Along with these a few additional cities or perhaps one very large one to explore would add more variety, considering there are fewer cities.

Sorry for the length, but any additional ideas guys and girls? Some developers might be reading.

Two are said to be made or worked on with some more to come. I think what needs to be added are improvements to the much anticipated vampires and werewoles.

Vampires in this were a let down. They are basically the same design as Oblivion, except they have frost resisitances. No extra speed or strength which doesn't make them appeal as predators. A toggle on/off power should have been available for a x2 or x3 speed enhancement for sprint with similar affects for stamina so it reduces less, and more powers that can be used over and over as it is a nightmare having only a few that can be used as basic spells anyway.

Werewolves were quite cool, but there are only a few in a faction and one outside for a quest. They aren't a creature to be found and fought with the occasional, joinable pack. Werewolves could roar, knock enemies great distances, feed and sprint. But they can't really jump. They can't run realllly fast and they can't actually get anywhere that you can't already get to. Kind of takes away some of the fyn for me. They should have been similar to the Bloodmoon wolves, they had amazing enhancements. They should be able to leap quite and far with a special sprinting jump.

Both races have been put in but without the full uses. Producers of the dlc need to add the extra content to make the character feel more like a different species, and introduce a different way of playing the game, to feel more like they have been cursed and yet blessed with great power. Not a once a day transformation that lasts 2 mins, when it should progress to willful transform forward and back abilities and not just some pale, frost resistant vampire that is best used...for very little. Both should be much quicker, deadlier and able to jump higher and further with little falling damage. Clans and missions involving uses of both, maybe with a war between the two should not have been ignored when many have suggested the idea.

Anyone reading this should post these ideas to different forums in the hopes that demnd should increase as they can improve upon an already welcome addition but complete what shouldn't have been just thrown in for the sake of saying it's there to get fans excited.

Most importantly, what do you think of the way they are now and what it would mean to have these extras I've described? Other ideas and opinions are welcome.

Im getting fibre optic broadband for my PC with the hub staying downstairs. My Xbox 360 is in my room. Can anyone tell me that if I use the microsoft wireless network adaptor will that allow me to connect to Xbox LIVE just by pluggin that adaptor into my Xbox???

The Xbox version Game of the Year edition. I am trying to join House Redoran, the honourable Dunmer (my favourite race) warriors.

Unfortunately I can't seem to as I've hit a snag. I was supposedly meant to talk to a Redguard female call Neminda but the first time I spoke with her I was a vampire (who were much better in this than Oblivion, at least there were clans and none of this added vampirism rubbish) and so she attacked me. I ran out of the building before she landed a hit and now that I'm cured (but I am now a werewolf which is so cool and I hope they have it in Skyrim, along with joinable packs and much faster movement and higher jumps) I have went back and she attacked me still. I killed her in defense but whenever I bring about the subject of joining the House I keep being referred back to Neminda. She's dead and gone.

Is there any way other than the main quest to join this House to complete their given quests and move up in ranks.

I prefer these guys because they like the Legion of which I am a member and they like the Tribunal Temple of which I am a member. Plus they are warriors and favour many of my skills, and are the traditional Dunmner warriors. They are cool.

My style, practiced in Northern Ireland and some parts of the UK, is unique but still follows the same requirements to be considered a hybrid being based on full contact sport, practical self defense and physical conditioning. There is the one large association called the Northern Ireland Tai-jutsu Association whuch had a few instructors leave and set up their own called Sekkyoku Tai-jutsu. Same style but with an added belt and slight changes in colour to our gi. Unfortunately the Northern Ireland website is being re made but the sekkyoku website is as follows:

I know there are other style such as Bujinkan and so on and have even seen Tai-jutsu dojos placed on different websites.

What other styles do you know of if you can tell me?

What are their main focus (striking, joint locks, kata) in training?

Anything else you can tell me would be much appreciated.

Apart from Tai Chi, Wing Chun and boxing.

Along with the styles, how long did he learn them for and how well did he train on those specific techniques? Just answer what you can, please.

Ok I completed the game but during the entire game I never had any hint of an Isabela or a Fenris except finding companion armour upgrades I have started again as a warrior (was a rogue first) and I am saving money for the expedition into the Deep Roads.

Where and when do I find Fenris and Isabela? I went through the game with just Hawke, Anders, Varric, Merril and Aveline (Bethany was taken by Templars after the Deep Roads).

I really need to know.

I downloaded this some time ago on the xbox live marketplace but never seemed to notice where the damn things are. Does anyone know where I can find them as I take it they are hidden or placed in caves and ruined forts?

I have asked this once before but for whatever reason not a lot of people answered. What is your martial arts style/school and give a description of the techniques and what is learned along with whether it is standing or ground based and if it is full contact and focuses on self-defense or competition?

Forgive me but I find it interesting in learning about other disciplines through the practitoners and can be curious as I knw that just because I do research doesn't mean I know everything about any specific style.

Add in whatever else you feel is necessary.

Im thinking of getting the game but I have never seen it being played and i've only got the reviews to go by. Is it any good at all and how exactly does it differ from UFC 2010? And what fighting styles does it contain?
