Need help with XBOX LIVE?

Im getting fibre optic broadband for my PC with the hub staying downstairs. My Xbox 360 is in my room. Can anyone tell me that if I use the microsoft wireless network adaptor will that allow me to connect to Xbox LIVE just by pluggin that adaptor into my Xbox???

Lacking internet knowledge, forgive me if I'm wrong ;D

But as long as you have a hub/router, I'm pretty sure you plug in the adaptor (into the Xbox) and it searches for any wireless connections available, you select your hub, and usually you have to enter a pass code, most of the time this can be found on the hub somewhere. Once you have done this you should be ready to play online!
