What difference should it make to feminism whether gender differences are natural or socially constructed?

Depends on the difference. There are honest natural and social differences, and then there are bogus social constructs to suppress women.

Natural Differences: Gender studies done by feminist researchers investigate neurological and disease-specific natural differences. The reason for studying these in my case anyway is to reduce mortality and incidence of certain diseases in women. There is a huge knowledge gap in most chronic diseases where we don't understand how to prevent or treat chronic disease in women, eg. women experience more fatal heart attacks than men, etc.

Bogus Social Constructs: Other issues involve arguments stating it's only "natural" that women wear dresses or have long hair. <cough>. Feminists in the early 60s and 70s wrestled those arguments almost to the ground, but I heard one on an email list just last week talking about how it wasn't natural for women to have positions of authority, so our work isn't done yet.

Discovery Channel has achieved a phase on Genders referred to as "The Sexes", so has ABC infrequently a factor of the super correct Wing Conspiracy. MRIs and puppy Scans exhibit components of the male ideas are energetic below stimuli that are actually not interior the female ideas. And that there are in fact 2 Brains, a Male ideas and a girl ideas. That the main substantial Gender individuals proceed to attraction to close to to a disproven and previous myth, is very revealing. in spite of the undeniable fact that that's infrequently surprising. Feminists are trying to reshape men & women in a way that suit theirs twisted view - it's like playing God. That's why they want the mass to buy into their "gender is a social construct" BS..

They and their pseudoscience are just full of hypocrisies and contradictions. For example: everything is a "social construct" but men are [inherently] bad/evil/violent..

Homicide is a blatant crime, and since it falls into the realm of legality, the comparison is apples and oranges. Feminism claims that absolute equality is it's endpoint, though most people today realize that the movement has ulterior motives. Often times, it will work towards equality of outcomes rather than true equality. It will also ignore obvious factors which must be considered in the equation. For instance, feminism will vehemently attack the purported gender wage gap, but will completely ignore the reasons that it may exist-

1. men prioritizing salary while women prioritize satisfaction, safety, flexibility of hours, and location

2. men working more hours overall, leading to more overtime hours and an artificially inflated salary

3. men being 8 times more likely to negotiate salary

4. etc.

At the same time, feminism is putting little effort into targeting the social expectations placed on men which might lead them to risk health and happiness to make more money

1. Men being judged for having a poor employment status

2. Men being expected to buy an incredibly expensive ring for an engagement and then (often times) other expensive trinkets on every major holiday of the year

3. Men being expected to pay for dates, dinners, etc. (due to society valuing female sexuality more than male sexuality-we literally pay for their time)

4. Men paying cover charges to attend venues and waiting in line while women just walk in (please don't say "then just stay in" unless you are willing to tell racial minorities the same after hiking up their prices).

5. etc.

We will never see absolute equality because feminism only considers equality of outcome (and even then, only when it seems to benefit women)

1. there is no equality of outcome regarding lifespan, leading to us prioritizing male-oriented healthcare research

2. men are attacked for being "deadbeat dads" but there is no acknowledgement of the fact that *by percentage* there are more "deatbeat moms" than dads (a higher percentage of females do not pay child support). There is also no acknowledgement of how rarely men get custody.

3. et cetera and so forth.

It helps them pretend women are capable of the same things as men if they believe we're exactly the same, and everything else is just a social construct. Fortunately, science has already proved them wrong about this.

If they accept Sexual Dimorphism/ Differences in any form (esp. mental aptitude), then their whole Ideology would collapse, since it built on a hear-say foundation that "boy would be girl & vise versa" if Government try "social engineering" ...based on "virtual" reality of Hollywood.

1-we indeed endorsed Homicide...it's called "Sentence to Death" applicable to many states & around the world.

2-Just because you don't endorse "Natural Order", it doesn't meant you are moral. Socialist/ Communist cried fouled for "equality" by denying any human difference...look at the bloody history of communism.

3- Look at Environmental Violations: by your definition, is it right to violate Mother Nature??

Because the socially constructed ones can be changed but the natural ones can't.

Of course gender differences are natural, If it were not, the female population would never have the need to protest for equality........they do represent half of the population.

Most self identifying feminists are in fact more correctly described as belonging to the hate-based ideology of misandry.

Their hate based ideology is about taking away rights from men and taking away the few responsibilities women once had.

The source of gender differences is of no consequence in their ideology of hate.

The only thing that real feminism is about is equal rights. All the rights allotted to men should be given to women as well. Whether it is logical or not, fair is fair.
