flying on a plane, pill question?
Hey guys, I have a question about flying... I've been feeling a little sick lately, so I take chewable pepto-bismol tablets every 4-5 hours, and often advil to go with it every 3 hours. I'm going on a 4 hour flight and I need to know what the policy is for taking these on my carry-on. Can I just have my advil in a sandwich bag, and the pepto-bismol chewables in the plastic "grid" they came in? I don't have the box or bottle for either of them at this point. I'm kinda at the airport right now, so, any quick advice would be great!
Thank you!

Yes, you can take them with you. Doesn't matter what container they are in. It won't be a problem.

The <<official>> TSA policy, as stated on their web site, is that you do NOT need to have any pills, whether prescription or over the counter, in any original container. However you want to carry them is perfectly fine. They really do not care about them.
I travel with 5 different prescription meds - 3 types of pills, and two injection medications. I take needles and various other small medical items that I need. I frequently take enough pills for the duration of my trip from each different pharmacy bottle and put them all into a single container, plus a few extras.
No TSA person has <<ever>> shown the tiniest bit of interest in my medical items. Never. Even with the needles in the same fanny pack.
Given how much hatred people express for TSA agents, you might offer to share a few of the Pepto-Bismol tablets with them. It might be the nicest thing anyone has done for them in a while.

I think it's only prescription pills that need to be in the bottle they came in, so I'm sure you're fine with having Pepto-bismol and advil in a sandwich bag.

good day woman! i'm completely with you.. i truly hate flying.. even seeing an airplane fly by using overhead makesme nausious because of the fact i hate them plenty in spite of the undeniable fact that it makes it plenty much less demanding in case you in the present day commence a converstaion with somebody sitting next to you. Like, "hi, i'm so terrified of those issues" and while the airplane takes to the air you would be right into a communique so which you will not notcie as plenty and then.. comfortable crusing! reliable luck!

Unless security questions it shouldn't be a problem. You should be able to take them in your carry on bag through security. I always leave mine in the package that I purchased so if I'm questioned they know what med I have.

absolutely no restriction. Take as many as you want in whatever packaging you want
