The US gives more and more food aid to countries around the world every year, yet, for many reasons, we haven't put much of a dent in world hunger, largely because there are more and more mouths to feed, and only so much land in Nebraska to plant corn.

The Chinese have adopted draconian laws to try to curb their population by limiting families to one child, and strict punishment for more than one. Will abortion become more accepted as a means for population control? At what point will we see the sort of horrors from science fiction films, with massive world wars and hundreds of millions killed?
