Are these parts compatible with each other? ?

Hi I'm building my first gaming computer with a budget of $600 after rebate for just parts.

All parts will be bought off newegg!

Ok I chose...

Case - Antec three hundred illusion

Mobo - AsRock M3a770DE

CPU - AMD Athlon II x3 450

Ram - G.Skill ripjaws 4gb 240-pin ddr3 1333 (pc3 10666)

Video Card - HIS H577FK1GD Radeon HD 5770

PSU - Corsair Builder Series 600w

HDD - Western Digital Caviar Blue 500gb

Optical drive - lite-on DVD writer iHAS224-06 lightScribe support

Other things that are in my list to buy...

ASUS PCE-N13 PCI Express Wireless adapter

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM

Rosewill HDMI cable 6ft

Rosewill RTK-002 anti-static wrist strap

I know that the CPU is outdated but I need something in my budget. But if it bottlenecks tell me.

Questions:

1) Will all the part work with each other?

2) Does it bottleneck? Suggestion?

3) Is 600w enough power?

don't count that cpu out. it bench marked as good as the phenom 1 x4s. it's strong cpu for the money. i just done a similar build that had the same cpu. something to point out is that can be unlocked to a phenom 2 x4. the rest will work fine, the board is atx, the tower is atx, the memory will work, the video card will work (i cheaped out and got a 5670 which runs like a champ despite the reviews). as for bottle necking, i doubt it. i'll put it like this, that 5670, 6 gig of cheapo ddr 3 1333 mhz, and that cpu not unlocked will run black ops 60-90 fps. most of the time it's in the 80s. i turned the aa off so i can't vouch for performance with it on. thinking about it, i don't know why i did, it'll run it fine though i'm sure. alot will say get something with l3 cache and 4 cores or better but for the money, that cpu runs like there's no tomarrow. i would buy it again even if i couldn't unlock it (mine was not stable unfortinatly. look it up on pass mark and compare it to the phenoms, you might be surprised...

Source(s): i just built a machine and used this same cpu...

If you are building your own system, I want you to watch out for something. Two weeks ago I was helping in a class where all the students get to build their own computer from parts. When they were all assembled and turned on, all the PCs shut down after a few seconds. I had personally installed all the heat sinks with thermal grease and also the CPU fans. After troubleshooting, it turned out that ALL of the power supplies were BAD! They were all made in China, too. We got RMAs and returned them. The replacement supplies were a different brand, but the same wattage, and they worked great. Lesson learned: there is a lot of junk coming out of China even today.

To be honest. im too lazy to look into all those parts but this is what you need.

Make sure your CPU and Mobo are compatible.( If Mobo is AM3 CPU needs to be AM3...if mobo is AM2 cpu needs to be AM2.. if mobo is am2+ Cpu needs to be AM2+)

You also need to make sure your ram is compatible. on the system specs of your mobo it would sya the memory standard is 1333 or 1066 or 800 or whatever. make sure your ram matches it. Also if your Ram is DDR3 your mobo gotta be DDR3... same for DDR2 and such. (this rule does not apply to graphic cards) Make sure your ram has the same number of memory slots... 20 or 20+4 or 24..

For you Graphics Card make sure that it is AGP,Pci express, PCI Express x16, or PCI Express 2.0 x16 (its in order from worst to best) make sure your mobo and graphics card have the same matching PCI slot. Also your power supply should have a 6pin slot to connect to the graphics card to get power. generally the Graphics cards come with a molex or adapter.

    Idk what bottleneck means.

and i think a 600w should be enough.

I supply you -? besides the undeniable fact that it is actual, yet no longer all Aquarius are the comparable. I also have a Taurus Moon guy pal who cherished me and he scared me simply by fact he replaced into way too comparable, yet I dated a Scorpio Moon individual and that i think of he had Mars and Venus in Aries and not in any respect he replaced into like me. Edit: the two February Aquariuses. Taurus Moon is a fifteenth February Aquarius, the Scorpio moon replaced into an 11 February Aquarius :D
