LGBT: Does Nair Hair Removal Stunt Hair Growth?

Question

I recently decided to shave my legs. However I remember hearing that shaving actually causes hair to grow back fast. I was told if you were trying to grow a beard you should shave everyday for a year or two before letting it grow up because it will grow back faster. I dont want to have that issue with my legs so I decided to Nair. Does Nair have the same affects of shaving or does it actually decrease how fast hair grows back?

its in LGBT because I'm a gay male who decided to shave his legs and I knew if I asked this question in another catergory I'd get people answering about how weird it is I shave my legs. I feel there is less judgement here.

Prolonged epilation, waxing or cream removal will damage and sometimes destroy hair follicles, like how plucking your eyebrows hurts less and comes back slower the more you do it.

Nair doesn't affect how fast the hair grows back.

Wax actually helps your hair grow slowly and less hairy, it stop growing until two weeks or so. Don't shave
