Does anyone own guinea pigs who uses the typical cube and coroplast cage? I recently purchased a cage that has a similar design online for like $30 except the base of the cage is a canvas material and I was looking to get something to cover it with to keep order from locking into the canvas material. I was looking to get coroplast but by local FedEx Kinkos wants to charge me $5 a square foot which would end up being well over $70 for my cage side ($40 more than the actual cage itself)

I wonder if there are any good alternatives to coroplast? I was going to head to Hobby Lobby and check out poster boards or even plain cardboard if possible.

My question is will any of these materials be dangerous if my guinea pigs chew on these? I mean they probably chew on the coroplast which is plastic so will a paper product or cardboard product be any worse? Thank you for your time!

I've lost 75lbs in the past two years and with my **** ON, I look really great. I still try to lose weight by working out and running and stuff and people think I'm trying to look anorexic or something by trying to lose more weight but really the only area I'm worried about is my stomach! I still have quite a bit of belly fat and it'd driving me crazy!! Its the only thing standing in my way of completing my health/body transformation/weight loss goal!! I dont need abs of steal of a fricken 8-pack or anything like that. Some muscle definition would be nice at some point but currently all I want is to get rid of the belly bump and have a flat stomach. Can anyone help me with some advice??

I have an app on my phone similar to the couch to 5k. Basically an 8 week plan (3 runs a week) that has me alternating between running a walking starting with 1 minute of running and then 1.5 minutes of walking. Eventually making you run more than walk and ending with you running the whole time.

For the past few weeks I've just kind of been doing my own thing. I'll go to my college's Rec center and find a treadmill and basically just run until I tire, then briskly walk a lap or lap and a half and start running/jogging again. I do this for 2 miles and then walk for about 10 minutes as a cool down. I am NOT a runner AT ALL so the first time I tried this I made it through 2 miles in about 25 minutes, I did a few days ago (4th attempt at running, about a week and a half since first try) and I had it down to just over 20 minutes so I AM seeing improvement. Is this okay for me to train like this? Or should I try the couch to 5k thing?

Part of me just isnt a fan of continuously trying to adjust my speed every 1-2 minutes since I use a treadmill.... looks kind of funny too to stop and go so much.

I just need to be ready by mid July, I'm signed up for a 5k then.

First of all has anyone ever done this before? How difficult is it and do you have any tips or words of advice before I attempt this?

Second, does anyone know where I could buy fragrance or essential oils from a store? I know I can get them from online retailers but I could like to smell them prior to making them into a cologne.

I have an iPhone 4 and I have some friends who have a habit of stealing my phone and going through my camera roll on my phone. So I figured I'd make a separate album for photos I want to keep, but I dont want all my friends see when they steal my phone. However even when I put these photos in this new album they are still in my camera roll and when I go to delete one is says "Delete everywhere" or "Cancel" Is there anyway to fully transfer photos from camera roll to a new album and delete in the regular camera roll without deleted them off your phone entirely. If you know how PLEASE let me know! thanks :)

So I got up the courage last night and decided to get my tragus pierced. It went great, hardly any pain, no blood but I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to taking care of it. I know that a tragus piercing has a higher chance of getting infected that lobe piercings.

How many times a day should I clean it? How long should I continue cleaning it/how long does it take to heal.

Any other tips would be great :) thanks

I didn't really realize it until lately. I've been dating my boyfriend for a month and I'm starting to realize I may have some trust issues. I've just been really hurt in the past by many people and its affected me a little. I really like this guy, he means the world to me, and he's always telling me that he trust me and how much he trust me. Trust is a huge deal to him so I know if I tell him this its going to really hurt him :'(

Ok let me start off by saying this is NOT an LGBT issue, I'm gay and I use this category a lot and you guys give great advice and I dont know what other category to put this under.

I will be a sophmore in college this fall. Last year I was in a old freshman dorm, small rooms, no A/C community bathrooms. My dad is a professor at this university so I get free tuition but still have to pay room and board. Next year me and my best friend are living in an upperclassmen suite. We both then our own room and the 2 of us will share a bathroom. Its small but private. All of my other friends are living in this dorm as well.

Well a few months ago I applied to be an RA (Resident Advisor) for a dorm and I just got a call today offering me a position at this other dorm. Thsi dorm is on the complete opposite side of campus but as an RA I get my own room and get FREE room and board (yep, my entire college would be free, even though my parents already help pay for room and baord anyway). I dont know how much I will be able to see my friends, not to mention it is another freshman dorm. I'll be giving up a private bathroom because I'll have to do community bathrooms again and there is no A/C and I'll be dealing with freshman and stupid students soooooo a lot of drug and alcohol problems I'll ahve to deal with among my residents. Not to mention my best friend will need to either be paired with a new roomate (complete stranger) or move to a different room, possibly different dorm.

IDK what to do. Here is my pro cons list of taking the position

Pros: Free college (HUGE), private room, I can stay an RA till I graduate, when I'm a junior I can try to transfer to a better upperclassmen dorm.

Cons: I'll be the only one in my group of friends NOT living in the same dorm as them, freshman dorm, possibly bad residents to deal with, no A/C, community bathroom, making my best friend redo room assignments, and a whole lot of extra responsibilities on top of my job and school work.

what would you do?

I am looking into getting colored contacts for cosmetic purposes only (I do not need corrective eye-wear). I know that even though I dont need corrective contacts I still need an eye exam before ordering them. Does anyone know roughly how much a LENSCRAFTERS eye exam would cost for this purpose?

My Pontiac broke down this weekend and I'm looking to buy a 2005 Honda Civic VP sedan. I really like the car but the only thing that worries me is that is has 190k miles on it which is more than what my old car had when it died. I know a Honda will last a lot longer than a Pontiac but I need to make sure this car will last at least 3 more years perferably 5+ years.

There is also an 2001 Honda Civic LX sedan I'm looking at with only 90k miles on it but its 4 years older and I've read reviews that say that the 2001 Civics have serious transmission problems and if buying a used one you should see if it's already had the trasnmission changed. I checked the carfax and asked the dealer and it has NOT had it changed and I really cant afford to replace it a year or 2 after buying this car.

I'm gay and I consider myself to be a libertarian (in short, economically conservative and socially liberal). I live in Ohio and there is a lot of talk about going around about this bill which is fairly similar to the one they are protesting in Wisconsin. Well I refused to protest and even said I support many of the things I did. I had multiple people from the LGBT group that I attend at my university immediately verbally attack me, one even blocked me on FB simply for not wanting to protest the bill.

My whole life I've felt really disconnected from the gay community because of the way I tend to lean right in many issues, especially economically. I've had many people tell me there is something wrong with me that "I cant think that way and be gay". Just because I am conservative in some areas doesn't mean I'm a full blown republican fighting to ban same sex marriage or anything.

So is there anyone else out there who feels the same way? Are there any other right leaning gay guys or girls out there who have felt discrimination from other gay people because of your political beliefs?

I recently decided to shave my legs. However I remember hearing that shaving actually causes hair to grow back fast. I was told if you were trying to grow a beard you should shave everyday for a year or two before letting it grow up because it will grow back faster. I dont want to have that issue with my legs so I decided to Nair. Does Nair have the same affects of shaving or does it actually decrease how fast hair grows back?

I went to school with a kid and then went to college. I'm a college freshman and he's a high school senior. He's bisexual and him in his gf are into threesomes. I'm getting a new TV and it says its resolution is 1366 x 768. Its a 32". I've only seen like 720i and 1080p or whatever. How good is this quality?

He knew I liked him, we went on a first date. Were in my room a few nights ago and put it out there. I like you, you know this, what are your feelings towards me. He told me I was his best friend here at college and therefore couldn't date me. He reminded me that next year he wants to transfer to his dream school he's been dying to get into and then tells me I am probably the only person that could keep him here and that he just couldn't screw that up.
