I'm gay and I consider myself to be a libertarian (in short, economically conservative and socially liberal). I live in Ohio and there is a lot of talk about going around about this bill which is fairly similar to the one they are protesting in Wisconsin. Well I refused to protest and even said I support many of the things I did. I had multiple people from the LGBT group that I attend at my university immediately verbally attack me, one even blocked me on FB simply for not wanting to protest the bill. 

My whole life I've felt really disconnected from the gay community because of the way I tend to lean right in many issues, especially economically. I've had many people tell me there is something wrong with me that "I cant think that way and be gay". Just because I am conservative in some areas doesn't mean I'm a full blown republican fighting to ban same sex marriage or anything.

So is there anyone else out there who feels the same way? Are there any other right leaning gay guys or girls out there who have felt discrimination from other gay people because of your political beliefs?
