I've been very active in my sleep the past few days, why?

I normally take Unisome to fall asleep when I work in the early mornings (im a barista) but when im not opening i dont take them. This past week ive not taken any but have had strange sleep. I have no idea what im doing, but i wake up in the morning to find my pillows tossed across the room, pillows out of their cases, blankets shoved under the bed and my housemates have said ive been moaning and even hissing in my sleep. This only happens when i DONT take the sleeping pills. Also, when this happens i dont feel rested at all the next day. Any clue whats going on or what i can/should do?

Update:

I tried googling this, but i keep getting religious wbesites about demons..... i would like REAL help.

Update 2:

I use to get nightterrors often, i could remember having them in the morning and they've ALWAYS been the exact same thing.... i dunno if it would change now... could it?

    Could be night terrors maybe?

This might not be something you want to do but you can go to the doc and ask to do a sleep study. You stay overnight and you are monitored while sleeping. My dad did it for when he was having sleep issues. They will definitely be able to figure it out through that (given you have one of your episodes during the study).

Sounds a lot like a rare sleep disorder called catathrenia. I've had it for 15 years. Not at ALL sex-related. You can read more about it on wikipedia, and there's a group of sufferers online (about 150 of us) on yahoo groups--you and she are welcome to join our group. See URLs below.
