Are these character names too similar?

Zoey and Effie. They aren't sisters or anything, and I don't want readers to mix them up.

Update:

I prefer Zoe spelled Zoey, and Effie is a Greek name. Not short for anything. I didn't ask for opinions on the names, thanks. :)

    Nah, I think you're fine. I think it's more confusing when two characters have names that start with the same sound, like Allen and Albert, or Katelyn and Kaylie.

    No they wnt get mixed up. I know that i usually get mixed up when a author puts like 6 main characters and then like 4 of them have the same personality ah aha.

    Your characters names sound diverse. based on the names your tale sounds cool. Now if it became into like Charlie and Charles, then that's purely too close. yet your names sound sturdy.

    "Zoey" is spelled Zoe.. and if you want it to be cuter you could call her Zo (as in with a long O sound)

    and Effie is short for....???
