Im writing an essay on Macbeth, is this part right?

Malcolm further demonstrates his mistrust of appearances when Macduff visits him. Malcolm is hesitant in trusting Macduff as he fears he was sent by Macbeth to spy on him, or even kill him as he was next heir to the throne. To clarify his suspicions, he tests Macduff to see how trustworthy and loyal he really is. This wisdom later rewards him as he survives and becomes king.

In the last sentence, it's unclear who the "him" and "he" refer to. You used "he" in the previous sentence to refer to both Malcolm and Macduff. You may need to repeat the names more often to make your reference clear.
