Is Bach's Prelude and Fugue considered a solo piece?

For a competition, they ask for two contrasting solo works, and I plan to play both the Prelude and Fugue as one of the solo works. Would that work?

Update:

In other words, I would play for instance Fantasie Impromptu as one solo piece and both the Prelude and the Fugue as another solo piece.

Each of them is a "Prelude and Fugue"

... like a symphony having several movements, the Preludes and Fugues are to be played together.
