Can you help with patience?

My 6yr.old has been driving me nuts! She is not misbehaving, just talks allot and is whiny at times. My patience is wearing thin and I don't like it. Thanks for any suggestions.

buy, or borrow, a tape recorder, and teach her how to talk into it, and play back her own voice, and this will occupy her, and adjust her tone, when she hears how it sounds if she should whine something onto the tape recorder and play it back..and when you hear it, laugh, and she will too, and tell her to practice talking instead of whining so it sounds better..k?

Sometimes its best, to just take a few minutes, to ease your tension.

Some fresh air etc, will do the world of good.

Alot of parents having a child such as that. What i can tell you for sure, is its just a phase and they will move on from it, fairly quickly. Approx 3 months, they wont be doing it anymore. Their mindset changes.

With attending school etc. They develop more discipline and independance.
