Liberals- one question for conservatives?

They always ask me, "Why do you work so hard" as they're sitting on their @$$es, smoking and drinking and waiting for their govt. check.

Abortion is wrong, but it is also wrong for the government to take responsibility for poor children. Surely it has to occur to Conservatives that if you get your wish, Abortion is criminalized, that there will be an increase in poor, unwanted children and it will be the government that will feed them, clothe them, and care for them. So is the Conservative position is to force their birth so they can die of neglect?

Welfare is wrong but Conservatives support Farm Subsidies, paying farmers not to grow crops. How is paying farmers not to grow crops not welfare?

The government is too big, but Conservatives want a military capable of dictating our will over the whole world. How can you have a military that powerful without a huge government fueled by high taxes. Surely Conservatives realize that the most expensive component is the the Military. The Soviets went broke trying to sustain theirs.

1. How can you reconcile your consistent support for farm subsidies and agricultural price supports for Cargill, ADM, and ConAgra for the past sixty years with your espoused belief in a laissez-faire economy?

2. At what point and why did the conservative party of Barry Goldwater become the party of U.S. military intervention anywhere and anytime? Is this what it means to speak softly and carry a big stick?

3. How can the GOP profess to be the party of limited government in light of their record of continual government growth for the past century?

Why has the conservative ideology in this country become so heavily dependent on the Bible? It does not seem to be a credible, or even useful, source for governing a modern superpower.

Why would anyone who makes under a 100,000 a year vote for a party that looks after the interests first and foremost of those who make considerably more????

My belief is that it is politically retarded to vote against your own economic interest.Your political beliefs become translated every payday.

Why are most conservatives unable to criticize the out of control, inefficient and counterproductive (not to mention morally dubious) spending on national defense, the national security apparatus and the drug war?

Why are conservatives unwilling to compromise on most issues?

Why are Conservatives so smart compared to us Liberals?

ok, the one question that i have, that i have never understood about conservatives is, why do you push your religious beliefs on others, and act that if you aren't Christian you somehow have no morals
