Many who call themselves Christians believe the earth will be destroyed in fire?

They believe that only those who are trinity worshiping Christians will go to heaven to live forever with God. Everybody else, people good and bad, will be tormented forever in a very hot place called hell.

Now, to be fair, they do say that anybody can come to their version of Jesus and be saved. You do not have to do anything. Just believe. Some may have an active faith but they do not agree with one another with their own teachings and they do not warn people on a mass scale.

Contrast that to what Jehovah's witnesses teach the Bible says

The Bible teaches that the meek will inherit the earth (Psalm 37:11 Matthew 5:5) . We learn that the earth will not be destroyed by fire but will last forever under a government that will at first be ruled by Jesus and then Jesus will hand over that rulership back over to Jehovah. (1 Cor 15:27,28).

We also teach that all who decide to worship God the way the Bible teaches will live forever on a paradise earth. You must be Christian but billions who lived before Jesus and did not know God will have a chance to come to know Jehovah and his son Jesus. Those who choose not to worship God as the Bible teaches will cease to exist. No hellfire involved. No torture for eternity.

Those who are Jehovah's witnesses have an active faith. They are moved to warn people on a mass scale. That is why we go from door to door and house to house. That is why we come up to you in parking lots and on the street. We want all to have a choice.

So. What do you think?

The Earth will be consumed by fire - in several billion years when our Sun expands into a Red Giant.

  • The reason that many believe that lie is because the leaders of Christendom has totally misled them.

Perhaps they should read Isaiah 45:18 and they will see how our Creator feels about the earth: It states---

"For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else"

Or they should read Psalm 37:9-11 which reads:

For evildoers themselves will be cut off,

But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.

     And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;

And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.

But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,

And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."

Do those verses indicate the earth will be destroyed? Of course not.

Even Jesus stated in his sermon on the mount that the meek will inherit the earth.

    Did his listeners believe him?

Jehovah created our beautiful planet for us to inherit and take care of. He will never take that inheritance away from his faithful ones.

Revelation 11:18 says that Jehovah will bring to ruin, those ruining the earth.

That shows just how much the earth means to him.

We love the home he created for us and we long to live on it forever, just as he has promised his loyal servants will do.

    2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

    Zephaniah 1:3

“I will sweep away both man and beast; I will sweep away the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea— and the idols that cause the wicked to stumble.” “When I destroy all mankind on the face of the earth,” declares the LORD,

“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” - Psalm 139:23-24

Seek God/Jesus and learn, lest you are not ready when Jesus returns.

    bless you.

The bible teaches clearly that the earth will be destroyed by fire. Please read 2 Peter ch.3, verse 7 and verse 10. Verse 7" But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men If you are willing to look at the other verse your eyes could be opened .

To criticize is of the devil for God commands us to return good for evil and to love our enemies.

Because the docrtrine is wrong in the churches does not give you or anyone else a reason to

speak badly of them. If you have mercy on others, only then will God have mercy on you. There

are many more verses if you are interested.

I think you really need to question your religion and get a King James Bible and study it and know the difference between your religion and faith in Jesus Christ alone. I pray your eyes will be opened to the Truth before it is everlasting too late. How can you truly believe in a religion that says only certain people can interpret the bible when the bible clearly says the Holy Spirit is our teacher. Pray for the Truth, it will set you free!!!!!!

The right to witness needs to be earned. You cannot come up to someone whom you don't know and expect them to believe you and listen to you. You must build a relatioship with someone and then ask them if they want to hear what you have to say. You can say whatever you want to someone. But that person chooses themeselves. Jesus taught on a personal level with people. He built a relationship with them.
