Is issuing state driver licenses to illegals a good or bad policy?

A horrible policy. New Mexico is fighting to keep it and it's just bullshit. If you have a driver's license made, you can have a passport made from that and voila... instant citizenship. It's garbage.

It is very bad. I moved to UT and I was going to get a drivers license. I pulled up the requirements on UT govt website. For an illegal alien to get a license, they needed a birth certificate and a baptismal or other nongov certificate of existence.

For an American citizen to get a license, the list went on forever including marriage certificates and divorce decrees and everything to show any change of name in your entire existence.

I decided to just keep my own license from AZ.
