How do I keep Windows 7 from going to sleep?
I keep leaving my PC downloading software (legally, so I don't need any dumbass remarks about what I'm downloading) and I keep returning and finding my PC in sleep mode when I wake it up the downloader has stopped and should have had the program downloaded several times over. I just built this PC on a windows 7 platform. My other PC was/is XP so I'm still trying learn all the tricks to running win 7. So how do I keep it from passing out on the job as soon as I leave it alone?

Set Windows 7 to Not Sleep when Idle
Open the Control Panel in the Start menu.
Open Power Options in the Control Panel.
Note: If Power Options is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.
Click Change plan settings next to the power plan you want to edit.
Change the drop-down menu next to Put the computer to sleep to Never and then click Save changes.
