Are there any girls out there who'd want a guy like me?

I'm 17 and have never had a single girlfriend, never dated, and I don't know how I'm supposed to approach a girl that I like. I doubt anyone's interested in me as more than a friend.

I don't really fall into any stereotype. I'm on the tall side (around 6 feet), I'm kind of a big guy (I think I'm around 190 lbs or so), I have blue eyes, dark shaggy hair, hairy arms, a natural unibrow that I tend to pluck every now and then (maybe once in a year), and a double chin that isn't too pronounced. I pretty much only wear plain T-shirts without any labels and either blue jeans or black sweats. I never wear sandals of any sort (in fact, I always wear sneakers and socks), and I never put gel in my hair.

My best personality traits? I've often been described as intelligent, kind, and witty. On the other hand, I've had serious self-esteem issues my whole life and am extremely sensitive. My hobbies include reading, writing, listening to music, hanging out with friends (although I prefer it when there's only one or two people with me), and sleeping. I'm very interested in society (especially politics).

When I see girls wearing makeup, I think to myself "why do you feel like you need to wear anything on your face to look prettier?" I can find a girl attractive in any outfit, especially if I like her. Still, I find it most attractive when girls wear outfits like these:

And when I see the girl I like come to school dressed up in something like that, I get really shy of her. I feel lightheaded, my legs tremble, and my cheeks go so red that they itch. It's like I want to give her a hug from the side, rocking her back and forth, and rubbing my head against hers with her wavy hair tickling my neck. All I ever fantasize about is cuddling with a girl in bed, giving her flowers, etc. It's odd too, because I find romantic things somewhat sickening in their cheesiness. But I can definitely imagine myself to be less sexual than what most guys are presented as.
