Do the topsy turvey planters really work?

    Yes and no. I used them last year to grow beefsteak tomatoes. The tomatoes grew and they tasted great, but they were all small. The tomatoes I grew in the ground were huge in comparison. I believe that has to do with the way the root system growing into the ground and not unnaturally reaching upward. It's important to keep it well watered, but not overly so and plenty of sun. I would say it is great for apartments, but if you have the ground, planting that way will beat the topsy turvy every time. Cherry tomatoes might be a good thing to plant in the topsy turvy since they are small anyway.

    sure, if it says so on the commerical, they must work...believe everything you see on tv....buy 10 of them...
