Who will lobby for workers when unions are gone.?

When the private sector has work related problems who will lobby for us, big oil, bankers, wall street executives, corporate executives. Why is having unions with lobbying power so bad, doesnt it offset big business for everyone? Will the government watch out for us or are they part of the problem, who helps their campaigns and sends them on trips. I think the remaining middle class is doomed. Anyone agree or give me a different point of view to make me feel better.

Update:

Why do you think many of those state and federal labor laws exist. They were hard fought by labor to include unions. And if governent can break contracts with unions what will it take to change labor laws?

No one. All the people who hang out here are going to get a 50% pay cut and lose all their benefits. That is, the ones who aren't living in their parents' basements. ∠°)

Sometimes unions are necessary where the boss/company is a rogue, but I'm sure the US is not like that at all, with its industry among the world's highest via production and pay rates already high.

A union's involvement should only be where employees are not being well paid and where their livelihoods are threatened, not where there's a need to justify payment of union fees or just greed.

Remember, the higher the wages in the US, the more likely there'll be job losses due to manufacturing doing offshore.

Unions drive prices up. Laws were created to protect the worker. Hell, anyone can sue their employer over anything now. Ever think how someone making 15 dollars an hour can afford a vehicle put together by people making 40 dollars an hour? Insanity.

i mean no harm but to say you pay the union i know to many of there people on unemployment and still paying dues lol so the question is when will the actually start lobbing for there people and to say the remaining middle class is actually a sign of denial the middle class is gone u ether got it or u dont if u still struggling to pay for yo gated community and yo BMW or what have u you still with the poor folks cause you don't got it jump in yo car and drive a block or two if you can count more than three for sale signs your property value is dropping so what will they classify you as next?
