Need help choosing video card?!?
Hi I'm building my first pc that will be for gaming. But I can't seem to choose a video card. So For now I'll be using the onboard graphic till I get a video card.
All parts will be bought at Fry's and Newegg.
Frys: case, motherboard, cpu, ram. I will buy these at frys because I didn't want parts that's defective when I get it from newegg.
Ok Specs...
Case - Antec Dark Fleet DF-30
Mobo - ASUS M4a89GTD PRO/USB3
CPU - AMD Phenom II x4 955
Ram - Corsair Vegeance DDR3 240-pin 1600 mHz 1x4gb
Video Card - unknown help!?! (Question 3)
PSU - corsair tx series 750w
HDD - Western Digital Caviar Blue 500gb
Optical drive - lite-on DVD writer iHAS224-06 lightScribe support
Other things that are in my list to buy...
TP-link high gain wireless adapter
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM
Rosewill HDMI cable 6ft
Questions:
1) Was it ok to use one stick of ram on this mobo?
2) I will be using the onboard video till I get the money for the video card, but will it be a problem if I don't have a dedicated video card yet?
3) What do you recommend me getting as a video card? I would like an nvidia gtx 560 but I'm scared if it will bottleneck my CPU, my pc won't recognize it since it's nvidia, and if my psu has enough power. So I would actually like a card that my CPU can handle, a card that my psu can handle, and a card that will work on a amd board.
Note not a big fan of ati. Oh and keep it under $250.
4) Rate my Rig from 1-5? Please, just so I can see if it's decent for my first build?

1. Yes it's ok
2. No
3. 560 GTX would be an excellent card. Your AMD 955 will not bottleneck it. Your 750 w Corsair is more than enough to run your system. Have the 570 GTX myself. ATI/AMD has crap drivers
4. 4, pretty decent

I'm not too fond on nVidia myself, especially eVGA. Avoid their stuff at all costs! I've owned three different cards by them, which all went defective within a few months. This was across different rigs too. The new AMD Radeons are very stable and very affordable. They also run cooler than a lot of comparable nVidia cards do in recent times. I would look at a 6000 series if possible, and if you can afford to go the extra $50, get a Radeon 6950 from Sapphire. If not, the 6870s are a nice choice as well for a little less cost! Sapphire has been the most reliable brand for me, as I haven't had the same success with companies like XFX, when it comes to ATI/AMD boards.
As far as your other questions are concerned, it all looks good on paper, but as you're putting it together, there could always be incompatibilities between certain components. Most times things work together okay, but just keep this in mind as you're building it. RAM is usually better in pairings, and you'll likely save money by getting 2x or 4x a certain amount, in lieu of just one larger stick.
If you want a rating, I'd say you're probably at like a 3.5 on a scale of 1 to 5. I'm running the highest end components available in an AMD solution, but I wouldn't give myself a 5, unless I had it all overclocked and was running more than one graphics card. Regardless, you'll still get massive performance from this system, should everything fall together in place well. Best of luck!

ATI radeon 5670 HD 512 MB or 1 gb is the value for money graphic card and can play each and every game released yet and the games that will release in next two years.
IT's cost is Rs 4500/4900 512 MB and 1 GB respectively.
It is not hungry of power it consumes very less power.

1. It will work fine, but 2x2GB would be better because that would enable dual channel memory, which would result in better performance.
2. It will be perfectly fine, but your performance in games and other GPU dependent applications won't have as high performance.
3. XFX Radeon HD 6870 is $210 on NewEgg with free shipping. That's what I'd go with.
4. Get a dual channel kit and a good video card and I'd say a 4/5.

The 8600GT is a stable card on your funds and that i desire to recommend it over the 2600 or 3850 you have appeared at from ATI. in case you do finally end up increasing your funds i might stronlgy recommend the 8800GT from nvidia because it rather is between the main suitable enjoying cards on the industry and exceeds something the 2600 or 3850 can handle.
