No it isn't. There is a stage that all or most young people go through where they feel dislike, contempt, resentment and other negative emotions towards their parents. It is a natural part of growing up and becoming more of an independent person. Usually this stage passes and you become friends with your parents again. This happened to me when I was younger and it really confused me because I disliked yet loved my mum. I am now 39 and we are very close.

There is also, unfortunately for some people, more of a concrete reason to dislike your parents. I don't know your situation but maybe your mum is not a nice person? It is very sad if this is the case and I hope it is just growing up.

Not weird at all, imo. I'm a guy and I have that issue with my dad, not my mom. Borderlines on resentment sometimes, but I can say that I never ever come close to hating him. The phrase "I love you, but I don't like you right now" applies.

My friend it depends on how actually is she. If she is nice and caring to you and still you dislike her it is weird. If she is careless and don't like you, It's not.

No, it's not weird. You have no choice over who your family is, and they're not always people we would care to know of they weren't related.

it depends sure she irritates me but that dosen't mean i dislike her in any way.

i definately don't like her much and i don't even live with her. even growing up i only lived with her for 4years and 11months total.
