What should i do for my art project?

Maybe you should do something about the earthquakes in haidi. Its kind of hard painting something that is suppose to be hung in your room. But maybe a village in haidi and people are trying to fix everything. Or maybe a forest fire.

"Hope springs eternal", the saying goes....

[The symbol for infinity is '∞' - this can be easily imposed over the '011 too... (eternal=infinity)]

Consider,

2010 was the 'Year of Biodiversity' - and it appears to end in 'io',

2012 is an Olympics year and for which there is a well known logo.

So, make it a landscape piece, the left side could begin with the end of 2010 with flora & fauna growing from it, merging into a full spectrum [rainbow] of colours like seen on a puddle of [bio]fuel.

Then, central in the image is 2011 depicted as a spring, using the frequently touted charity ribbon, a wishing well, hands together in prayer, all fending off disaster of any kind - whether a fire, disease, poverty, earthquake, war etc. the area of 'hope' pushes all those to the outer - and away from 2012 too - all left and above/below a '<' shape...

...2012 seen beginning in the right of the image with simply the edge of the Olympics logo.

Make all this seem framed but rather with a practical functioning calender element like a slider;

Today's life and society is money centred - so do something on that?
