    What nationality are they?

    - If you made the nationality up, it's best to make up your own names for them rather than using typical foreign names.

What time period are they from?

Does their culture even have last names?

    Are they male or female?

What type of fantasy is it? Are there 'Toms' or 'Theeefegloppolojjers'?
