I bought one of these back when I first started playing guitar:

Almost 15 years later, I still have that strap. I've had several other (and more expensive) straps in that time, and they're all broken and in the garbage now.

Those ones are simple, straight-forward, no BS straps. They're comfortable and work just fine. If I ever feel the need to buy another strap, it will be one of those. I see no reason to take a chance.

From what I can see about those straps, their major claim is that they're vegan.......they contain no leather. I can't see how they're more or less comfortable than any other similar strap.

If you want a comfortable guitar strap, the key is to distribute the weight over a large area. That means a w-i-d-e strap. My guitar is very heavy. When I bought it 32 years ago, I bought a 3" wide leather strap. I've gigged every weekend since then and the same strap is still holding up. The closest model you can get today is the Levys M4: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/M4Brn
