I just got the Throttle Box by MESA which sounds great with my Randall half-stack but on my line-6 practice amp at home I can tell that it's low end isn't really what I want. I want to be able to play heavy palm muted power chord grooves (think slam death metal) without it sounding too scratchy. I was thinking maybe the Death Metal by Digitech. I don't want to get the Boss Metal Zone just because my other guitarist has that pedal. Thanks.

The LTD MH-1000NT is a good example of what I want but I don't like the blue finish. I like red the most but black or something would be cool too.

Which one sucks less. I really liked all 4 earlier scary movies but i thought that disaster movie and all of those were pretty lame. I think dinosaurs in 3d would be pretty cool but comedies are my favorite. I'm also going with two girls so if there's scary scenes in jurassic park would be a plus.

Is that right, or do I need a question mark at the end? I shouldn't because I was stating what the character was thinking not asking right? And is it appropriate to just state what the character was thinking then add "so-and-so thought" at the end? It should work as long as I don't overdo it. What other ways are there to say what a character is thinking in a third person novel.

Those bands make you wanna move but my problem is the only times I've danced were with girls, slow dancing and grinding. I've never danced by myself and at metal shows i just headbang. Can someone just explain how they dance at rock concerts when they're just with their friends?

They both have some common elements and themes like down tuned guitars, slow grooves, and emphasis on breakdowns. Some stoner rock songs like Run Pig Run by QOTSA have chromatic and atonal runs much like in thrash metal. Also there are some heavy and slow breakdowns like in War Nerve by Pantera that are very stoner rock-like. Sometimes stoner/ desert rock seems too slow and sometimes death/thrash metal seems to only focus on the emotion of anger and this tires easily. By combing these genres it would cover a wider range of emotions- anger, lust, depression, etc.- and this would be more appealing in my opinion. This would sound like High On Fire or Pantera; think a heavier QOTSA or Wolfmother. Thoughts?

I just got into Taoism but i have been doing energy raising meditation for about a month now and i can feel my sub-navel chakra, heart chakra, crown, and third-eye. Would be safe to continue this form of mediation and to do other ones like retention and testicular breathing when i have not even finished reading "Tao Te Ching', and on Taoist forums i often have no clue what they are talking about? By the way i am 16 and was born into Christianity but it doesn't suit me.

I mostly play thrash metal and stoner/desert rock. My biggest problems with songwriting is making the songs flow without just having a ton of variations of one single riff. I can write a riff, play it with a higher/lower pitch, and I can play the same riff with a different tempo. But when I try to take 2 riffs that have different tempos/ different keys and put them both into a song it sounds kinda forced/choppy. Transitions sometimes work for me but I don't know. How do you guys do it?

I'm 16 and like in the middle of class my heart rate will go up and i'll breathe heavily, my penis will have this pumping feeling but nothing comes out i just feel like i have to piss badly.This feels just like an orgasm except it will randomly happen on its own without me even having an erection.
