At shows like this, there's no one way of dancing... some kids practically mosh and go crazy, some are all but standing still, most are in between and just doing some kind of free-form flailing thing. Honestly, no one is going to be paying attention to anyone else's dancing (unless the person in question is having a completely spazzzoid moment) so don't be self-conscious, just do what you feel! The point is that most everyone is so caught up in the music that it's not really about the dancing at all... being in motion is just kind of a natural side effect of the music, if the band is any good. Beyond that, if it's a small venue and everyone is just standing, you're going to be packed so closely together that you're just going to be getting jostled by the crowd, and jumping up and down is basically what it comes down to when you have no real room to move. By the way... if you've got tickets to Arctic Monkeys, I am 500% jealous of you.

Arctic Monkeys are epic live! people mostly just jump up and down, headbanging and fist pumping lol

there's no grinding and getting down, it isn't that type of concert.
