About how long does it take to feel the affects of semen retention?

By not masturbating. I think this is mostly a Taoist thing so Taoists please answer. And by thy way' i've been abstaining for about 2 weeks now and i don't think i feel that much different from when i wasn't. Is there anything i should do?
