How do you pronounce the Greek word strength?
I am getting a bird with one leg. I am part Greek and love giving my animals Greek names. I would like to name it strength, but in Greek.
I have seen it both pronounced thinami and dinami. What is it and how do you pronounce it?

δύναμη(strength), when romanized its "dinami".
the δ letter is romanized as "d", but it doesn't have the d sound.
it has the "th" sound as in "they, them, though".
Write it as "dinami", but pronounce it as "thinami".

The Greek word is Δύναμη. paste it on Google translate and click "listen" to listen to it, as it is more clear than trying to write phonetic types here.

thinami is the way it is pronounced and dinami is how greeks type it with english letters (greeklish). it is pronounced exactly as written in the first way: thi- like when you say this, -na- like when you say narrow and me like in me, you, him ,her and you must accentuate "thi", say it louder than the other syllabes
