Choosing first motorcycle gear.?

I about to get my first motorcycle (Ninja 250r) and wanted some help picking out my gear. I feel like I should get a textile jacket, helmet, and boots/riding shoes. Can anybody give me ideas and advice on choosing good gear? Brand names and links would be appreciated.

    The important gear.

    1. Helmet- Go for Scorpion or Icon, they're affordable.

    2. Jacket- Icon make some good looking Jacket.

    3. Boot- Its not necessary, but if you feel like it, then get it.( they real expensive)

I usually get mine @ this website, http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/

they have a varieties of everything and plus its free shipping.

    Be safe out there.!

Brand names & paying high prices dont protect you its the quality of the stitching & material,

check all stitching, make sure it does not run off or get to near the edge of the garment,

leather is the best protector it lasts longer in a slide down the road that's why bike racers where leather gear & not fabric, same goes for gloves as allot of the time its your hands you put out when you fall,

helmets different manufactures are different shapes so you need to try them on it should be a good fit & should not twist on your head the helmet padding will give after a time & if you have got the right size it still will not twist on your head,

also when buying a helmet look at the fastener because we all like different ones i like the seat belt type clips easy to open & fasten with cold gloved hands,

boots this is hard for me because i have bought the so called best in the seventy's i bought a pair of ashmans cost me a weeks wages i still have them they are like new as they are utter crap will not keep your feet dry if you walk through a puddle,

had a pair of buffalo boots with the double zips one on each side of boot these let water in after about 30 miles in the rain,

now here is the thing i have gone out & bought a pair of akito monza boots with velcro fasteners no zip now i would of never thought of doing this but my son bought a pair 18 month ago & he road up 100miles to meet me to go on a run for the troops & it was lashing it down & did all day i only had 40 miles to go my feet were soaked his feet were still dry when he got home in the evening, so that's why i have gone out & bought a set of boot that i would not have given a second look to & at £ 45 the price is not bad

i hope this helps you enjoy your riding

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net/

My husband like joe rocket and alpine star for jackets and gloves and boots. As far as helmets he relies on shoei never had one fail us yet. He has used shoei helmets for years and survived a bad accident because of one. A good place we have to get our gear is http://www.cyclegear.com/ they are reliable and reasonably priced.
