Can someone suggest some vegetarian ideas for St. Patricks Day (see note).?

I've been looking up some stuff online and many options have fake meat. I am allergic to soy so I need some ideas. It's our first st. Pats day as vegetarians. Thanks!

I'm unaware of any special meal on Paddys Day, Paddys day is....well essentially not a celebration about christianity in Ireland. But more about going on the lash & celebrating irish culture ie through the arts & our language. If thats the case for you, potatoes/soda bread/guinness/cabbage/parsnips/leek etc etc all common irish foods. Make a stew minus the meat, i can tell you here & now soy isn't in anyway a common irish dish (ie cultural)

I'm making this vegan whiskey cake!

Here are some other recipes I was checking out:

I just love making things with potatoes and different types of breads, too!

I am also vegan and allergic to soy so I know what it feels like, but there are still plenty of incredible dishes that can be whipped up without using soy, egg, dairy, or meat :) Good luck in your cooking endeavors!
