What is this thing called "Spybot"?

Looking at my files I find this thing called "Spybot" with a couple files in it. Should I just delete it?

And if its bad why doesn't the SCAN remove it?

Spybot Seach and Destroy by Safer Networking LTD is a legitimate program, but there are malware programs which copy its name.

I would suggest that you download, update and run a quick scan with the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and a full scan with the free version of Superantispyware and let them remove what they find.

If one of the copycats got into your system, MBAM or SAS will find it.

    > Superantispyware: http://www.superantispyware.com/

Edit: What "SCAN" are you talking about that doesn't remove it?

Then it is of to the subsequent ingredient which will deliver you excitement. And confident, you're able to be loose to try this.)
