It would be great to get advice from a medical professional!!?

I have been ill with vomiting and diarrhea for 10 days now. This includes 2 visits to the E.R. for severe symptoms and extreme dehydration 4 days apart. I have been given Zofran, Bentyl, Pepcid, Phenegren, Vicodin and Cipro. I have had abdominal x-rays and a C/T scan. I've had no real diagnosis, except for a urinary tract infection brought on by the diarrhea. I have no blockages. I do have swollen abdominal nymph nodes which may or may not be caused by my illness. The radiologist at the hospital recommended that I have another C/T scan in 3 months for a check up. Here's my issue: when first treated and released from E.R., after meds and fluids, I felt much better. The vomiting did stop. The diarrhea never did. I could not eat or drink without instant, uncontrollable liquid stool. After 4 days of this, I went back to the E.R. dehydrated and very weak. I was given fluids and more meds. I do feel some better. I am not as weak as I was; however I STILL have wicked diarrhea. It is getting more solid and more controllable. I am not taking any of the prescribed meds except for the Cipro. I have 2 more days of that. I just want to know what I can do to get back on my feet!! Food and drink still go right through me, not as quickly, but I still can't hold them very long. As a result, I have very little energy. I drink flat, warm Sprite, Gatorade, apple juice, lemonade, and water. I eat yogurt to try to help with the diarrhea and replace needed intestinal bacteria. I eat fresh fruit also simply because I crave it. Please give me any advice on what to eat, drink, or do to get back to feeling my best again. I would be ever so grateful!! This has got to stop. I don't have time to feel so bad!

You should Follow up with a Gastroentroligist there maybe an underlining condition such as IBS or Diverticulitis or simply a bug that can only be eliminated by time. All the medications may just be easing the symptom rather then fixing the underlining cause of your disrupted gastro system. Start with a high fiber diet wheat breads mini wheats banana.
