Has anyone built a pc outside in there backyard?
Lol. The weirdest thing I had to ask, but seriously I have my parts coming in and I need somewhere to build it. And I was going with:
my room (carpet)
the dinning table (carpet... Crazy right any way)
backyard
so I got a few questions
1) I have an anti-static wrist strap by unlimited cables. How can you tell if it's working?
2) Can I build it in my room, or the dinning room since I have a ant-static wrist strap and it's carpetted?
3) What should I be wearing I usually wear gym type clothes when at home. Lol Should I just where jeans and a normal ol' t-shirt?
4) If I work on it outside, can dust damage my parts?
Thanks for your time, I hope I got all the foolish questions I need written down up there. Lol

You can't tell if a wrist strap is working - you just have to use it correctly: one end is on your wrist and the other is clipped to a main metal part of the computer.
As long as you do this, it's OK to build the computer in your room or anywhere else.

Just don;t shuffle your feet around.
Connect the wrist wrap to the chassis before you touch any parts
Or touch the chassis before working on the PC.
You should be fine.
