What Do I do?...Guys viewpoints appreciated pleeese?

hey everyone, thanks for stopping by, i was hoping for some insight on this.

i am in a long distance relationship that started off amazingly, the chemistry was great, we have alot on common and we want the same things in life, from religion, marriage etc.

three weeks ago he had a really rough week at work and our communication just went down the toilet! But i didnt nag about it knowing he was having a rough week and let it slide. the following week was the same thing, from our ten emails a day to not even ten emails a week, i didnt hear from him all of thursday friday, saturday and sunday and only heard from him monday saying something came up and he had to take care of it, i was hurt that he couldnt even send me a little note to tell me what was going on, i mentioned this to him and he said sorry i said please dont do it again because its hurtful and it makes me feel like you dont care. he said ok he wont do it again. but since that monday night i only got three mails from him, i havent heard from him in 5 days, all of this weekend he was ignoring me too. I dont know if he is doing a power game or if he is taking me for granted or if he doesnt care anymore. I dont know what to do. Do i email him and tell him I am hurt by his attitude or do i leave it and ignore him til he comes round. All the internet articles say ignore him til he comes round and dont be readily available for him. i always answer his emails immediately and call him back immediately and i end up being the first to call or text or write every morning and i feel i am putting so much in and not getting anything in return and its making me feel hurt.
