No it shouldn't. It's freedom of expression. Some racists use that flag, yes. But originally the piece sign was a symbol for anti-Christianity. So should the piece sign be banned? The clan also uses the christian cross as a symbol of racism, should the cross be outlawed as a racist symbol too? No. The only people who are offended by the rebel flag are ignorant minorities who wont pick up a history book.

The accomplice flag, perchance, change into once a demonstration of states rights. Or, it may well be an emblem of branch. yet, to practically all of people alive immediately, that's an emblem of slavery, and the strive against to shop them. Nevermind that the civil war change into purely tangentally about slavery, that's what the flag stands for immediately. it would want to be my wish that the flag might want to be buried in embarrassment, and not in any respect held up as an emblem of delight, in basic terms as i might want to wish that racial bigotry might want to be buried in embarrassment. then again, the accomplice flag ought to no longer be outlawed. that's an emblem. an emblem representing a view that's repugnant and ignorant. although, human beings have the right, no longer purely to carry such perspectives, yet to coach them. we ought to always no longer be making perspectives, or the expression of them, unlawful, else who will make the alternative on the "best" perspectives? that is different from yelling filre in a crowded theatre. neither is it to say that we ought to always enable employment or accomodation to be in accordance with race, nationwide foundation. yet, on condition that one obeys the regulation on habit, we can purely wish to modify perspectives by enlighted effors at training. no longer by censorship.

It's a flag used in battle. What if they ask the same questions in a few years about the American flag? Nobody tells the Blacks about their flags or their symbols.

No.
It is part of history. If you outlaw the flag, are you going to go into every history book and revise it by removing the picture?

No, it's considered to be protected speech. Regardless of whether or not you support the ideology behind it, you get on a very slippery slope when you talk about outlawing any kind of speech or expression of speech.

I don't particularly care for what this flag is a symbol of, but I am totally against outlawing it. To do so would be a violation of free speech.

no such thing as a confederate battle flag. it is just a flag. i have seen black people supporting the flag, as when they raised the one in florida last year. several black men attended and participated. it is that sticks and stones thing. it is a silly game immature people play.

No. Freedom of speech and expression protects it. Furthermore, for many people, the flag represents a rebel spirit and tenacity and not slavery.

No. It's a flag. It also lets me know which tailgates to stay away from in parking lots.

No, I do not. It is a part of our nation's history. There are some that don't like it for what it once stood for and I can understand that, but not to the point where I would have it abolished.
