Useing at home hair dye, Is it better for your hair/dye to take if it's used after just washing your hair?

Or should you use it after a day? Not sure if the natrual oils help keep the damage down and make the dye work better.

    Follow the directions. Most hair colors say to wait a day.

    As long as ur hair is dry. However you have to shower after u dye ur hair anyway so just dye then shower not shower dry dye shower, that dosent make sense
