Do you believe the world will soon suffer the Greatest Tribulation in its History?

The Bible says mankind is going to experience great tribulation; Matthew 24:21-22. Do you agree, disagree?

Update:

Follow up question: Do you think God's Kingdom will be the only solution to this Great Tribulation?

Update 2:

KB: The Bible has proved to be a book of fact over and over again. I don't think you have the facts straight about the Bible.

Update 3:

KB: The great tribulation doesn't frighten me. What frightens me is mankind doesn't see this tribulation coming, despite the fact that true Christians-Jehovah's Witnesses-have been preaching about this Great Tribulation for almost a century.

Update 4:

Bubbles: I heard a great talk about the great tribulation not long ago. False religion is going to be angry when the governments shut them down.

    Depends on your POV.

I know some who suggested Pompeii was it.

Then there's the various Plagues & other environmental disasters in the Biblical area.

The fact is the book was written before the New World & many SE Asian/Australian land masses were known.

So chances is it's already happened - & we survived.

I totally agree, but I do not agree with any Biblical or religious concept, but we have now got to the point where we cannot reverse the detrimental effects we are having on the environment. Eg; we have now gone past the point where too many trees have been destroyed and the burning of fossil fuels as well as the pollution of our seas will see the oxygen content of our atmosphere continue to drop, when it reaches 6% we will be dead and gone. There is a bigger chance now of Nuclear meltdown which destroy us sooner. Anyway the next 4 years will be the make or break. People should put aside their petty religious and racial differences and work for a better home world as this one is all we have and we are rapidly turning into a waste land.

The anti-Christ has to come to power first and then make a peace treaty with Israel and then 3 and a half years into that renege on the treaty! Also all Christians have to be raptured before the tribulation so none of us believers will be around to suffer through it, only those who are born again during the tribulation!

And if you are one of those who is alive during the tribulation dont take the mark of the beast, as there is no chance of eternal life if you take the mark.

Preach Christ crucified and risen, and the forgiveness of sins by his blood that is the only gospel in the Bible.

    Enjoy your day.

The Mayans believed time become around, that date marks the tip of the present cycle and the beginning up of the hot one. the super Tribulation has to do with Christianity, some thing the Mayans have been thoroughly oblivious to (till of course human beings arrived from Europe).

With all the bad things happening at the same time and no sign of relief. I truly belief that the Great tribulation is not too far away.

Yes I do. We, even true Christians are going to be shocked, but not surprised, as we have been forewarned about it.

The whole world will go crazy, apart from God's true followers, who will be holding there heads erect, as we know the end of Satan's system which includes all the political governments will be destroyed.

Yes to both your questions !! Unfortunately most won't listen, to their own detriment, it saddens me, and the words of Jesus ''If only you will listen'' go unheeded !! The time doesn't seem too far off now !! Gods Kingdom is the only answer !!

    No.

How many times before have we been told that the world is ending, or tribulation is upon us?

There was supposed to be a catastrophic nuclear holocaust in the year 2000. Did that happen?

No. Bubonic Plague was the worst event of the last 1000 years, unless I'm forgetting something. Maybe WWII, but the Plague killed more people.

No. Take a brief look at the history of the middle ages in Europe, or the bronze ages of India and China. Nothing we will experience will compare to the tribulations those folks had to endure.
