What is the biggest lie the Democrats have ever told?

The Democrats in the South before the civil war said that enslavement was actually good for African Americans: slaves were happy and content under the paternal care of their master and his family, toward whom they felt a special affection, and talk of liberty and freedom was irrelevant because slaves could not even understand those concepts. This was the biggest because it lasted the longest and was still part of our culture as late as 1939 when they made the movie "Gone With The Wind". The next biggest was that the civil war was about states right not slavery which some people still believe.

LBJ. The second alleged attack by Hanoi in the gulf of Tonkin. This attack on an American ship never really happened, but was used as a reason to open hostilities against the North Vietnamese, through the drafting of the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution.

The resolution served as Johnson's legal justification for deploying U.S. conventional forces and the commencement of open warfare against North Vietnam.

That is one that you could literally fill volumes with but what is worse is, it isn't their politicians that lead the way in their dishonesty. Democrats / Liberals actually teach one another to lie at all cost about even the most basic of things such as what and who they really are.

When you really drill down to the root causes of it though, it becomes elementary and easy to see why. Just look at who their constituency groups that make up the party are. The bulk of the party is compromised of Socialists, Marxists, Criminals and Felons. Then there are the illegals and foreign nationals of Anti American dictatorships. There are the radical muslims, the professional welfare riders, Union thugs, racketeers, and gang bangers. Organized crime syndicates and drug cartels. Gay's and Lesbians, frauds and con artists. Community organizers and flim flam artists.

It is just a never ending list of people who by the virtue of who they are, lie and pretend to be something other than who they are in every facet of their lives.

If they were not so inherently dishonest, I would feel damn bad for them.

You make a great point about the Murder but to me, the biggest lie was when Dems passed the Stimulus Bill to save Americans jobs and it did absolutely nothing! It was a total failure and it still has done nothing as it was suppose to do! Where did all the money go that was stolen fromthe American Public? Where did all the money go to the State Districts that DID NOT exist? Why did Stimulus Money go to American run Territories ,as in Guam, when they have NO Votes in our government! The government now owns GM,and as a taxpayer, why hasn't all the money given to them been paid back since they are now so profitable?? Chrysler is in the same boat!

The list goes on and on and on and NOBODY can give us any answers! Our own Federal Reserve can't tell us where BILLIONS of dollars has gone according to the IG of the Federal Reserve!

Yeah right, we are so much better off than we were ten years ago! Wake up America! Make our government accountable for their actions as they make us accountable for ours!

Well, the entire protest of the war in Vietnam was a lie, the truth was these people were cowards.

It is not dems or repubs, it is politicians; all politicians lie. That is part of the job description.

Yeah, I was thinking that era as well but I'd go with the Pentagon Papers and what they revealed about the lies coming from the LBJ admin. As far as biggest Republican lies I can't come up with just one. There are way too many.
