Has anyone ever got 50 best answers in a day?
I've just been looking at all my old answers for the last 3 weeks, and amazed how many are 'in voting' with no votes- so when I vote for myself it seems likely I will win.
What is the most best answers you have had in a day? So far mine is about five, but I'm not hugely active on here. Thanks.
(Best answer points not necessarily to the highest answer- maybe to the funniest anecdote included instead.)

I stopped voting in the category I answer in, just because I really do NOT like getting Best Answers from votes. But I still get a lot of them, from other folks voting. Since I do answer a lot, sometimes I get a flood of Best Answers. Over 50? Yeah, it's happened. Not lately, but back in the day when the site was a LOT more active than now.

I've gotten about 28 in a day doing that same thing, so I'm sure someone has gotten 50. I don't consider myself to be extreme at this especially considering I'm only lv 2 though I have been here almost daily. Funny? I'm not good at doing funny. Does that mean I don't get best answer? :(
Not entirely sure about how many I got in a day but i know it was 20+ my best answer percentage went from 7 to 20. :)

The most best answers I ever got is over 200. Around 250. I do that by answering a lot of questions that are not answered. I also learned to manage my answering time by switching back web to web. For example, if there are not a lot of questions appearing in "Mathematics", then I go to "Homework Help" and answer more questions. This way, you save more time. I am not cheating by multiple accounts or anything. I find a way to get the "tsunami" (and I mean it! Romana and pelican are the users who get that amount!) of Best Answers. To get more BA's, you need to answer the question and put your answered questions in the certain place where you will remember. Follow this sequence:
1st day - At least hundreds of questions answered in your list and vote 'em.
2nd day - Vote that you just answered and come back to your list to finish the remaining votes.
You will realize how quick you get to earn more points and BA's.
Note that you need to be the reliable answerer to gain BA's.
Edit: Yes, I got 50 best answers before several years ago.

I didnt know you could vote for yourself, i'm probably naive but I';ve never tried. But that kind of defeats the whole object of the exercise doesnt it, or is that naive too, to think there's any point to Y!A at all? Somehow your observation has made me deeply depressed!
