Am here to help or raise a smile, haven't much to ask, but am happy to answer a while!
Will I ever win the Euromiilions lottery?
I buy one ticket per draw, always a lucky dip, and obviously want to win it. I'd prefer it when it had rolled over a few times- maybe win £138 million like the French person last Tuesday, or more as has happened before.
Do you think I'll win it soon- if not I might give up and go and live in China?
5 AnswersGambling10 years agoIf you had the choice to live in either Chenzhou or Guangzhou, which would you choose and why?
It's all there in the question. I have that choice to make, and wonder if anyone can help me decide.
2 AnswersChina10 years agoMaximising performance on home desktop computer...?
A friend has a Dell Dimension 5150 computer (quite old?), with an 80GB hard drive, which is nearly 3/4 full. He has now bought an external hard drive, 1 terrabyte, and wants to free up as much space as possible by moving files to the new drive, leaving the original to perform as quickly as possible. Other than moving all his Itunes files, and his photos, what else can he do to clear things up to make it work as effectively as possible?
If you can't be bothered to type the stages required, but can post a link to a set of simple instructions that might help, then please do. Thanks for your help.
1 AnswerDesktops10 years agoDoes anyone feel like being really insulting and rude?
I have the feeling if I asked a question about stroking a fluffy bunny rabbit someone on here would find a way of being utterly filthy, abusive, nasty or wrong. So instead, lets hear your vitrioilic assertations as to why you out of all 'answerers' are the only right-headed person alive in the world today.
3 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoHas anyone ever got 50 best answers in a day?
I've just been looking at all my old answers for the last 3 weeks, and amazed how many are 'in voting' with no votes- so when I vote for myself it seems likely I will win.
What is the most best answers you have had in a day? So far mine is about five, but I'm not hugely active on here. Thanks.
(Best answer points not necessarily to the highest answer- maybe to the funniest anecdote included instead.)

3 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoThinking of the poor Japanese?
Are you as shocked as I am by the hideous events in Japan in the last 24 hours. I would like to send my sympathy to any Japanese people or others affected by it all. People are thinking of you, including those who have answered this question.
4 AnswersJapan1 decade agoDo people often deserve to die?
Ya know, like these dumb Afghani people who were too dumb to develop the best weapons in the world, and instead spent their time farming and trying to repel repeated invasions by foreigners. Do they deserve to die for not having been behind the Manhattan project (and Hiroshima), or for not having slaughtered Iraqis, Vietnamese, and others throughout history? Or do they deserve to die because they they don't bow to the same Jeeeezuzz like I do? Ya know, tha Jeeezuz who loves you and me and all the little children and Big Macs and Coke and especially napalm and warships...
10 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow many people have you killed, and how proud do you feel?
This is not a question for the decent people amongst us- don't answer if you are (truly) religious, or a pacifist, or anything remotely tolerant. It is a question for the bigoted, hateful, racist and ultimately inferior human specimens to answer.
5 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoIf I asked you the question I am thinking of in my mind, what would your answer be?
Try and compose an answer that has the potential to be funny, to the question I am thinking of. When there are a few entries I will tell you the question, and then put it to 'voting'.
You'll have to trust me that I won't change the question to suit any of the answers.
The question is...
3 AnswersJokes & Riddles1 decade agoBest UK breakfast cereals mixed together?
If you have to mix three cereals together to make the tastiest mixture, what would they be, with rough proportions?
For example- 1/4 cornflakes, 1/4 bran flakes, 1/2 weetabix.
(that's not mine, but simply an example)
1 AnswerOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoCan anyone tell me what this song is?
It goes...
"Dee dee deeeeee... dum dum da da da deeee. Dadada dummmm deee, der dum, der... der, der dum.
It has some drums in it, and a person singing. I heard it last February if that helps, but it could be older than that by several years.
Thanks, points to the best guess if no-one gets it for me.
2 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoWho would be the best three people to take on a long space journey and why?
Living or dead, hopefully people I have heard of instead of "My mum 'cos she can cook" answers.
1 AnswerOther - Destinations1 decade agoIf a Big Bang occurs in a space/ nothingness and there is no-one there to hear it, does it make a sound?
Its either wordplay, philosophy, or science... the choice is yours.
If it doesn't, it can't be 'bang' of any size, can it?
If it does, then why do people care about the 'tree in the forest', as this is a much more clear example.
5 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoWill there ever be another as great as Bob Dylan?
Simple question, no further detail required.
8 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoIf we were electing the future president of the world, who better than me for the post?
I'm joking about me- it is only a way of phrasing the question.
Who (alive today) would be the best person to lead the whole planet if we could unite under one world government?
Why would they be the best?
(I am curious to see the balance between the purely negative and critical, and those with positive ideas for our future and the reasons for them, in the answers submitted)
5 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWhat is the song that plays on the "Tombola, sponsors of Emmerdale" adverts on ITV in the UK?
The only words I have caught are "Don't let your feet touch the ground, and don't look down".
It is not that I want or like it, it is simply to settle a dispute- I need to be able to hear it in full.
Thanks

No further details- please state why or why not.

1 AnswerWords & Wordplay1 decade agoDo you believe that the human race will exist in 100, 500, and 1,000 years time?
With regard to the changing environment (sea levels, air pollution), running out of arable land and food, not to mention fish stocks, wars and the developments in the technology of destruction...
Do you think that there is a point within the three time frames mentioned above when mankind will no longer exist on earth?
