IE keeps going from http:/ to https:/ rapidly. Possible hacker?

My wife noticed that the address on her facebook page kept switching from https:/ to http:/ and the page kept refreshing all the time. The address would change all the time, but the page would never load. Finally, she hit stop and it quit, but she got to wondering and was wondering if maybe that was a sign of a hacker? We haven't ever seen it do that before, so it's kind of worrisome.

https:// is more secure than http:// because HTTPS is a combination of the HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) with the SSL/TLS protocol to provide encrypted communication and secure identification of a network web server.

HTTPS connections are often used for more security, which means it is even safer to be opening a "https" site than "http" site

I would recommend using firefox or chrome for better web browsing.

Social networking , Banking Websites on Internet must provide protection to their customers in order to save their user credentials from various system vulnerabilities and Hacks.Internet security plays a prominent role in protecting high rating websites and search engines like Google from Hackers.so How does this Internet security work?.When a user enter his user name and password. The password gets encrypted into a 32 digit string with numbers and letters .This encrypted password goes to the Main server and gets decrypted there. Thus, there wouldn't be an opportunity for the Hacker to steal the password, in case if he does he will not be able to decode the encrypted password. This is how the Internet security works.Sites certified with SSL Certificate only
