How does a gay relationship even work?

The same way straight relationships work.

Clearly, you don't have much experience in relationships, but those issues you just brought up are not clearly set by gender anymore. Who is dominant? That gets negotiated in every relationship, and usually many times. Who drives? Who is the better driver? Who works? Well, in most modern relationships, both parties work. The economic realities of today require it...

Again, maybe after you have some actual experience with real life relationships, you'll see how silly this question is.

Take the word gay out of the question and it may better help answer your own question. How does a relationship work? By both parties loving, respecting, understanding, and not giving up on one another, among other things. So, as far as who's dominant, who drives, who works, and who gets butt slammed, the same as my answer in the previous sentence, both parties should make the decision on this equally.

Mine has for like 27 years. He drives, which is fine by me, I cook and the world is a much better place, we've had some off shift work schedules and the rest of the stuff we share.

There's dominance in relationships? Probably whoever feels like the dominant one, I guess. O_o

Who drives? Probably who ever feels like driving

The answer to all the questions is probably "Whoever feels like it." just like in a straight relationship, silly.
