Are you going to be the first to get to practice and the last to leave?

Their are two things you need to be good at baseball: Confidence and Concentration. While at the plate you need to know you can hit the ball and when your in the field you need to know you can make a play. Because without that mind set you will not succeed in the game of baseball. Also, Concentration is key because you always have to know what is going on in the game and have to pay attention to everything while in the field and at the plate.
P.S. Batting Tip - While at the plate never think. Just sink you mind into your hands holding the bat and have your eyes glued to the ball in the pitchers hand.

If you are really dedicated and are willing to work very hard, you can get better. Your showing signs of improvement so your doing things right.
I used to suck pretty bad too. I used to strike out nearly every-time, and seriously, almost EVERYtime. Used to be on the bench all the time. But then I worked real hard, went to clinics, practiced a LOT, and in one year, I went from not being able to hit above .200 to hitting over .700! I got into my league's all-star game, went to the Gopher State Championship (I'm from Minnesota) and got elected team captain.
So, even if your really bad, you can get a lot better.

you won't get better because the people on Y!A say you will. You have to practice every day, and put effort into it. You can't slack off if you plan on making it all 4 years of high school.

Ya you def can get better the more you practice the better you will become. If you are willing to put the time in and are serious about it then you can get to whatever level you want. Just lift weights and practice everyday.

If you don't like it then why do you play. And to answer your question, ya. The more you play, the better you get.

A good way to find out is by putting the bat next to your legs .. If it reaches your thighs .. Then its perfect.
