Do you ever get bored watching movies?
I've noticed lately that i've started to get really bored when watching movies and generally just not enjoying myself, it's odd because there are certain scenes in most films which I know I find funny or enjoyable in general however for almost the entirety of the film I feel trapped and it's depressing.
The strangest thing about it is with some films, especially films with a message. I'll be bored watching them but then after some time has passed i'll have fond memories of the film itself.
I think it may partially be a combination of the mediocre films i've watched lately (The Green Hornet, Due Date, Ironman 2 etc) and the fact that I feel trapped and obliged to watch it in it's entirety regardless of the quality.
Oh and predictibility is another thing, I hate having to wait 1 and a half hours to reach and ending that I could see coming from the very start.

Very often, as a matter of fact.
For example, I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but I generally feel extremely bored with Bladerunner. I find it very hard to watch this film. And yet I keep re-watching it from time to time, because some time passes and the parts of the film I was bored with fade from my memory, leaving just the great atmosphere, the recollection of the cyberpunk aesthetics, and, what's more important, Roy Batty's pre-mortem speech (which was completely improvised by the actor anyway). And the cycle of "watch it - hate it - warm up to it - watch it again" continues.
So yeah, I think I know what you feel.
Cheers

Yeah, all the time. I think it may be because there are no longer any good movies being made. But, yeah, I also watch a movie, or read a book, and an really indifferent about the whole thing, but then after it's over I can't quit thinking about it.

Pineapple Express. Tolerated it for about an hour. Stranger Than Fiction. Ugh. Neither story deserved a movie imho

Absolutely. I think the problem is that Hokeywood is relying on (a) special effects, (b) computer graphics, and (c) 3D to grab an audience. Well, that's like Chinese food, it'll only keep you satisfied for a few minutes.
Give me an old 2D black and white with a great storyline and good acting any day and I'll stay glued to the screen.

It is near impossible to watch movies online for free or at least is safe and virus free as there are server costs and such that need to be paid and they have to make money somehow to pay them. Allot of the free sites do so nefariously to pay them.
If your looking for a safe reliable site to watch movies online try http://www.myplaybutton.com/ as my family has been using them for years to watch/download movies online. They have all the latest movies with no advertising and no buffering on their streaming movies and they even have direct downloads, not torrents. It is absolutely the only site in this category that I trust my kids to use safely.
If your trying to watch movies on your Ipad try http://www.myplaybutton.com/ because you can watch the original high resolution AVI, the site works with any device and since you can direct download your movies, there is no need for a proxy.
I've been burned way too many times and found myself with Spyware or a virus on my computer after using many of the free sites to watch free movies online. Its not so free when you have to put hours and hours into removing the crap I got from them. If you are looking for a website that is safe and reliable give them a try.
