Waterproof or not? Sony DSC-TX5?
I have had the Sony DSC-TX5 camera for 6 months, but I have never used it underwater. I love it, and would love to try the underwater aspect as we are leaving for Roatan on Friday. I'm sure we will snorkel at some point, and it will be my 7 year old daughters first times snorkeling and I would LOVE to get pictures of that, but I'm nervous about using my camera to do so, and then it breaking. What I am asking is what is your experience with this camera?
Livin' Life- It says it is waterproof up to 10ft, but some reviews I have read people said their camera stopped working after or water got into the camera and Sony did nothing about it. So I just wanted a few more opinions before I decided to do anything.

Yeah! it's absolutly waterproof. I used mine on a cruize just this last year and we went about 15 feet while snorkling. Worked great!

when u got ot did it say it was for use underwater? waterproof only means its can get a bit wet from the rain, but not underwater.
