92 celica gt just died?
it just died going down highway ignition switch was a lil iffy so replaced it but have no hot wires going to dist. looked everywhere cant find a bad fuse

I had this same thing happen in my 93 GTS. It turned out to be the controller that is just below the distribution rotor/cap assembly. I figured it out by using the troubleshooting section in my haynes book.

Could be a number of things. Corrosion on the cables, cables lose, bad starter, alternator, fuel pump and etc.

Here's what you do: Hitch a ride to your local Chevrolet dealer and use whatever money you can get from the celica to buy yourself a real car.
