The quickest way I've found for sending big files is a piece of software called Dropbox. I've started using it recently and its awesome. The other person you are sending the file to doesnt have to have it installed, but if they do then you can set up a shared folder. If you set up a shared folder, then any file you copy into the folder will automatically transfer to their computer, and vice versa. If you've got more than one computer then you can use it to sync your documents between them all. There is even a free app for iPhone, Android and Blackberry so you can view all your files on your phone. You can send files up to the size of your account, which is 2gb initially with the free account, but everytime you invite someone you both get an extra 250mb. So click on my invite below and we'll both get an extra 250mb. Check it out-

its not you, its more than likely their inbox rejecting it. i move huge RAW files around, and the best way is FTP... however, if you have yahoo messenger, its got a handy, transfer file option... it can shift huge files instantly (obviously dependent on connection speed)
