What does a green spotted puffer fish eggs look like?
i was looking at my puffers and cuppycake had this weird sack like thing come out of her... looks like a sperm thing ... i need help i dont have a clue what it is and if the eggs are in a sack

the chance of a green spotted puffer breeding in captivity, even if you have the most ideal tank set up, is not something that has been possible commercially, so your chances are less ... all puffers are taken from the wild because they rarely breed in captivity ... but if she was going to lay eggs ... there would be about 200 and she would take off and the male would guard the eggs ... the eggs are a pale white and will hatch in about a week ... if the green spotted puffers are not in brackish water they will not hatch ... if they do hatch, the male will care for them and they need to be fed live baby brine shrimp ...
